Lead the technical management and design development of the Frame Carrier Assembly, which includes frame carriers and frame extension brackets (such as Suspension Sub Frame or K-Frame, Rear Cradles, etc.). Ensure successful delivery of all engineering aspects for specified programs, focusing on time, cost, quality, and functionality. Oversee all internal components of chassis structural frames, taking into account design, materials, and manufacturing expertise to execute design, assembly, and service-related objectives. Key Functional Responsibilities:Report to the Center of Excellence (COE) for Axle & Mounts, guiding technical direction and project team interactions to prioritize program goals.Design and develop Frame Carrier for various extension projects, from initial concept to serial production in collaboration with Business to People (B2P) suppliers.Create detailed project plans at component, system, and vehicle levels, promptly identifying any deviations from the plan and initiating recovery strategies.Ensure that components meet established targets for cost, quality, and other relevant attributes.Develop robust specifications and Statements of Requirements (SORs) to support all build phases in alignment with vehicle milestone targets.Manage all aspects of the design release process, including initial releases in PLM, change management, BOM updates, and necessary documentation.Ensure proper component integration with surrounding systems through Interference Dimension Checks and similar evaluations.Develop and implement a comprehensive validation plan, both analytical and physical, with the capacity to interpret results and suggest corrective actions.Support vehicle test and build activities, providing timely solutions to any arising issues.Guarantee that all technical elements of component development are documented, including GD&T, DFMEAs, DVPs at the component/system/vehicle level, and specifications for materials and finishes.Effectively present module status in relevant meetings, ensuring clarity and technical accuracy.
