About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Senior Voice Engineer to take charge of designing, operating, and enhancing our comprehensive global enterprise voice systems. In this pivotal role, you will directly support our carrier-grade voice infrastructure, ensuring optimal call quality and uptime while driving operational excellence. This position is perfect for those fluent in SIP technologies, who enjoy troubleshooting intricate call flows, and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and support voice infrastructure, encompassing SBCs, policy servers, and voice gateways.
Diagnose and resolve SIP signaling and call flow issues across our global platforms.
Engage in an on-call rotation to address high-severity incidents as needed.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Cloud, Network, and Security teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.
Partner with vendors for platform updates, performance tuning, and escalations.
Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation processes to boost operational efficiency.
Contribute to the documentation, design, and ongoing improvement of the voice environment.
What You’ll Bring
A minimum of 7–10+ years of experience in voice engineering, operations, or telecom infrastructure.
Deep understanding of SIP stack architecture, call setup, and troubleshooting techniques.
Hands-on experience with SBCs and policy servers, with Ribbon experience being essential.
Knowledgeable in voice routing, QoS, and integration with both cloud and on-premises systems.
Experience in supporting 24/7 operations, including on-call support and incident management.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and security best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities for working with distributed teams.
Nice to Have
Experience in automating or scripting voice operations workflows.
Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Grafana) is a plus.
