We are seeking a Senior Web Security Researcher to collaborate with a talented team of security researchers, data scientists, and software engineers. Together, we continuously hunt for threats, assess and create new detection methods, and share intelligence on cybercrime activities with the aim of protecting our clients while maintaining a human-centric internet.
Your Responsibilities:
Explore web browsers to identify behavioral differences.
Conduct research and develop signal collection for mobile and desktop environments to enhance detection and protection.
Devise methods for detecting automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
Understand specific customer needs, deliver impactful results, and exceed expectations.
Identify adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures used by bots.
Generate and validate data insights to improve detection capabilities.
Share research findings through blogs, presentations, and conferences, communicating your discoveries effectively.
Investigate malicious content on the internet, analyze methods, and document findings.
Engage in red team activities, experimenting with new fraud tactics and detection bypass methods proactively.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and events relevant to our mission.
Contribute significantly to team-level metrics and objectives.
Create tools and scripts to streamline workflows for yourself and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience in web security research and threat detection.
Familiarity with various programming languages and tools for security analysis.
Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
