About the job
Feenstra is looking for a Service Technician Trainee in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland. This role combines hands-on technical work with paid vocational training, offering a direct path into the field while earning a salary.
What to Expect
From your first day, practical experience goes hand in hand with formal education. The gross starting salary is €2,808.46. School days are fully compensated, and trainees participate in a structured, paid training program. The package includes a dedicated work van, professional tools, and 38 vacation days per year.
Role Overview
The position is based at our Broek op Langedijk branch, with work throughout Noord-Holland. We take your home location into account when planning assignments. As a trainee in the Service & Maintenance department, the initial focus is on central heating boilers: learning how they work, how to maintain them, and how to prevent breakdowns. You will work alongside an experienced technician as you build your skills toward independent work.
Your Training Path
- First four weeks: intensive in-house training and shadowing experienced colleagues
- Learning takes place both in a modern training facility and on-site at customers' homes
- Quickly earn your VCA basic certificate and CO specialist certification
- Within weeks, begin performing maintenance on heating boilers independently
- Receive your own work van and tools within 8 weeks
- After a few months, start a recognized BBL training program at MBO Level 2, then progress to Level 3 (school days fully compensated)
- Important: The next class starts August 1, 2026. Please do not schedule vacation during that month.
Support and Growth
An experienced colleague is always available if you run into challenges. Feenstra invests in your development so you can grow into a skilled, independent service technician.
