Key Responsibilities:
• Execute mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance tasks. This involves observing devices in operation to identify root causes of issues, dismantling devices for access to defective parts, examining components for flaws, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing or replacing defective parts, testing devices for performance, and conducting assessments on electrical circuitry and mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with Siemens automation systems, including troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance, is essential.
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as needed.
• Conduct maintenance independently following industry standards.
• Set up and operate various machining operations, including but not limited to lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair. Welding tasks may also be required.
• Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Participate and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) activities aimed at enhancing processes, results, and cost savings.
• Maintain and review records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to gather equipment performance data.
• Provide assistance to junior technicians and offer leadership to small teams, performing advanced functions as part of training and development.
• Engage in on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career advancement.
• Comply with all safety policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines, maintaining situational awareness to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
