About this Position
As a Signal Processing Engineer at CoVar, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced signal processing algorithms and software that address pressing customer needs. You will create innovative algorithms for data interpretation and sensor decision-making, particularly in the RF domain, encompassing tasks such as detection, localization, classification, tracking, and electronic warfare (EW). Your work will also involve designing and executing simulations for RF applications and analyzing outcomes against real-world datasets. You will have the opportunity to showcase your findings to senior stakeholders in both the DoD and private sector, with the potential to publish your groundbreaking research in classified and unclassified forums.
Key Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize signal and array processing algorithms for RF applications, including detection, localization, tracking, channel estimation, beamforming, and spectral analysis.
- Simulation and Evaluation: Create simulations for RF applications and assess the performance of algorithms using real-world data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate signal processing solutions into larger systems.
- Presentation: Communicate your work effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including high-level customers.
- Publication: Contribute to the advancement of the field by publishing innovative findings in appropriate venues.
