As we expand our operations, we are seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to join our newly formed Silicon Validation team. This full-time, permanent position is designed for entry-level engineers to collaborate with our skilled engineers while contributing to the management and execution of silicon validation tests for Alif’s devices. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our lab infrastructure.
In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Silicon Validation and collaborate with various validation and development teams, presenting a clear pathway for career growth as you gain experience.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Constructing and maintaining our silicon validation lab infrastructure
* Setting up, operating, and integrating test equipment within the silicon validation test frameworks
* Contributing to the creation and maintenance of silicon validation test frameworks
* Assisting in the upkeep of an automated testing environment
* Developing and executing scripts and applications for automated testing and system configuration to validate silicon functionality and performance
* Supporting root cause analysis and defect isolation for identified issues
* Reporting bugs and verifying fixes
While the role will be tailored to your experience, we would appreciate it if you possess the following qualifications:
* A background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
* Some experience with test equipment used in validation
* Familiarity with testing frameworks, software configuration management, and defect tracking tools
* Knowledge of silicon validation is an added advantage
