We are currently seeking a talented Auto Body Technician to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to repair and restore vehicles, ensuring they meet original structural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic standards. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment are essential. The technician will report directly to the foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze damage reports and repair estimates to strategize work execution.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of collision damage, including all exterior body parts and operational power accessories, while identifying any overlooked prior damages.
  • Perform Comprehensive Repairs: Repair and replace structural and body components, including front-end parts, doors, frames, and underbody elements.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment; hammer out dents and defects effectively.
  • Utilize MIG welders and compression spot welders for vehicle welding tasks.
  • Completely dismantle damaged areas to uncover hidden damages early in the repair process.
  • Skillfully file, grind, and sand surfaces using both power and hand tools.
  • Employ soldering equipment and plastic fillers to address holes, dents, and seams.
  • Restore Vehicles: Ensure that vehicles are returned to factory specifications.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for proper handling and safety.
  • Read and comprehend repair estimates and automotive procedures.
  • Work with various metals, plastics, glass, and electrical components.
