As a Maintenance Technician at Peak-Made, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the integrity of our apartment community. This position requires a dedicated team player with a strong technical background, who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all service requests and repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in managing inventory levels of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Uphold high standards of customer service.
- Follow all personnel management protocols while ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
- Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Foster effective communication with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to align with budgetary guidelines and ensure a robust preventative maintenance program.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining a hazard communication program.
- Conduct inspections of the grounds, buildings, and community features to mitigate liability risks.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures.
- Work alongside the maintenance team to ensure the community consistently exhibits excellent curb appeal.
- Assist residents during the move-in and move-out processes as required.
- Help schedule and perform maintenance and repair activities related to unit turnovers.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Resolve complaints and address issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the upkeep of the office and common areas.
- Participate in maintaining the exterior of the property, including landscaping and common areas.
- Perform swimming pool maintenance and keep meticulous chemical logs.
- Join the on-call rotation for emergency services.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team.
