About the job
Join our innovative team as a Software Architect Integration, where your expertise will drive the design of secure, scalable, and future-ready integration solutions within the Axon Project Delivery domain. If you excel at translating complex enterprise landscapes into clear, comprehensive end-to-end solution designs, and enjoy guiding teams and clients toward sustainable architectural decisions, we want to hear from you!
Your Role:
As a Software Architect Integration within the Axon Project Delivery team, you will shape and govern the end-to-end solution architecture for customer implementations. Your responsibility includes ensuring that Axon-based solutions seamlessly integrate within the customer’s enterprise landscape, adhering to architectural standards and supporting their long-term strategic roadmap.
Your role involves defining and maintaining architecture across business, application, data, integration, and technology layers. You will transform business strategies and requirements into practical architectural designs that balance scope, timelines, and long-term sustainability.
You will establish Axon integration interfaces, message semantics, and event models for both internal and external consumers. Your guidance on event-driven integration patterns, synchronous and asynchronous communication choices, and compatibility management will be crucial. You will also ensure that integration contracts and specifications are clear, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Additionally, you will contribute to architectural governance within project delivery, participate in architecture reviews, document architectural decisions, and help manage architectural risks and trade-offs. Safeguarding non-functional requirements such as security, privacy, performance, resilience, auditability, and observability will be key to your success.
You will facilitate architecture discussions with customer stakeholders, clarify constraints, explain design options, and support decision-making at various levels within the customer organization. Furthermore, you will shape transition and migration approaches from current to target architectures, identifying dependencies essential for stable and predictable delivery.
