Position: Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Technology Group (ABTG). In this role, you will contribute to software design and development activities, working under the guidance of the Software Development Manager. You will be responsible for designing, documenting, testing, and modifying both existing and new software applications. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing requirements documents and developing solutions to meet these specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Actively participating as a team member and taking ownership of your assignments and projects.
- Developing, coding, and unit testing design solutions.
- Leading and participating in writing and reviewing software functional specifications and design reviews.
- Creating detailed designs, performing analyses, developing prototypes, and documenting completed designs.
- Mentoring and guiding entry-level engineers.
- Providing third-tier support as necessary.
- Contributing to the development and achievement of ABTG's organizational goals.
- Engaging in activities such as reviewing marketing requirements.
- Assuming roles as task, project, or team leader and fostering collaboration within and across workgroups.
- Providing input for software development budgeting and scheduling.
- Assisting in software and hardware purchase decisions.
- Performing related duties as assigned.
