Responsibilities Enhance the user experience of the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Android by shaping how users interact with our advanced location technologies. Develop and maintain code that interfaces with device sensors (e.g., GNSS, IMU sensors, Bluetooth) to collect accurate real-time data streams for positioning algorithms in both 2D and 3D environments. Collaborate with product engineers to implement unit tests and automate regression testing, ensuring the highest quality in all software releases. Influence the design of upcoming platform technologies, features, and tools by working closely with other internal teams. Create compelling demonstrations that highlight product features and showcase common workflows. Contribute as part of an international, cross-platform team, collaborating closely with mobile developers during planning and code reviews. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android software development. Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android mobile development. Proven ability to collaborate within a team focused on delivering high-quality software. Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technology concepts and apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with daily Git workflows (branching, code reviews, merging).
