Essential Qualifications:5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.5+ years in automated testing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong commitment to holistic quality practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Gherkin, SQL, Ruby on Rails. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest/Puppeteer, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or similar. Familiarity with testing support tools such as GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, and PagerDuty. Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes. Background in data-driven and security-focused testing. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Join our dynamic QA team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Accellor, where your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining the highest standards of software quality. In this pivotal role, you will be engaged in developing and executing intricate smoke and regression test scenarios, managing detailed test cases, and driving improvements in our testing methodologies.

Note: This position requires working remotely during EST hours from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST, transitioning to an in-office role once the project concludes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain regression automation scripts to enhance application functionality.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software to validate accuracy against predefined criteria.
  • Perform smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure optimal software performance.
  • Document feature behaviors comprehensively.
  • Log pass/fail conditions and link failures to bug reports.
  • Identify and communicate any risks to product quality or testing processes.
  • Collaborate with product teams to uphold quality standards throughout the SDLC and release cycles.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to integrate user feedback into testing strategies.
  • Engage in effort estimations and planning to ensure accurate project timelines.
  • Utilize Github for maintaining automation repositories and executing custom scripts.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
