About the job
At Circular IT Group, we develop digital solutions that accelerate our circular mission. As the Software Development Manager, you will strategically leverage technology as a growth driver. Your focus will extend beyond delivery to making informed decisions about where to invest, what to build in-house, and how to collaborate with partners to scale more rapidly.
You will translate organizational goals into a clear technological direction, ensuring that teams, processes, and roadmaps align consistently with these objectives. You will create clarity, priority, and focus so that we demonstrably deliver value and maintain a future-proof software stack.
Leading our cross-functional development teams, you'll be ultimately responsible for the development strategy and roadmap. You will continually align our efforts with business goals to maximize the impact of our technological investments.
Your Responsibilities:
Translate strategic objectives into a clear product and technology roadmap with specific, measurable outcomes.
Drive value creation by establishing clear priorities and continuously assessing where technology can have the most impact.
Maintain coherence within the portfolio and actively guide decisions regarding building, buying, or integrating technologies.
Facilitate strategic decision-making with management teams, product, and operations, including risk assessments and scenario planning.
Establish predictable delivery as a prerequisite for strategic execution, supported by clear KPIs and performance metrics.
Create transparency for stakeholders regarding progress, impact, and realized business value.
Guide (near-)shore teams and technology partners with clear frameworks, shared goals, and long-term collaborations.
Strengthen the engineering organization through leadership, coaching, and fostering a high-performing culture.
Ensure that architecture, integrations, and platform choices are scalable, secure, and future-oriented.
Ensure compliance (such as ISO-27001) supports growth and speed rather than being a constraint.
