About the Role
Our software engineering team is expanding, and we are seeking talented graduates who will complete their studies by July 2026. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to one of the following domains: Data Platform, Onboard Systems, Machine Learning Infrastructure, Simulation, or Technical Infrastructure teams.
About the Work
Depending on your expertise and interests, you may work on some or all of the following:
- Data Platform: Manage and optimize Nuro AI Driver's data, labels, and metrics, ensuring seamless access and functionality. This team focuses on data annotation in diverse fields like 2D/3D perception, mapping, behavior trajectories, and language/text. Responsibilities also include data ingestion and mining, utilizing heuristic methods and embedding search, while supporting autonomy evaluation infrastructure through detailed introspection.
- Onboard Systems: Our onboard systems team develops reliable, high-performance platforms that enable integration of autonomy software and algorithms across various self-driving platforms. This role necessitates close collaboration with software, hardware, and systems/safety teams to ensure that new software and hardware function safely and effectively, addressing any onboard errors and performance issues.
- Technical Infrastructure: This group is responsible for essential services across the engineering organization, including a generic compute platform for mission-critical workflows such as data processing and simulation, a storage management service for handling hundreds of petabytes of data, cloud infrastructure as IaaC for resource provisioning and maintenance, and engineering productivity tools like CI/CD to enhance efficiency.
