ABOUT THE TEAM

The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division is on a dual mission: to develop highly capable autonomous drones and to manufacture robust rocket motors at scale. We turn groundbreaking concepts like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius into fully operational systems through close collaboration with specialized engineering, operations, and production teams. Our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team focuses on designing and producing solid rocket motors utilizing cutting-edge materials and proprietary formulations, ensuring safe and reliable propulsion systems that meet diverse mission needs. TRS is seeking passionate software and hardware engineers eager to innovate across a powerful portfolio—from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance rocket motors. Our teams contribute to the development of sophisticated autonomous robotics and propulsion products that excel in demanding operational environments.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Robotics Software Engineer on our TRS team, you will spearhead the development of pioneering autonomous systems. We are in search of a skilled Software Engineer to enhance and optimize Anvil, our autonomous kinetic interceptor designed for accurate and low-collateral neutralization of group 1 and 2 aerial threats. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping Anduril's advanced UAS capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design and implement robotics software to enhance the Anvil platform with new capabilities.
  • Lead feature development from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring quality and performance.
  • Mentor and inspire fellow engineers, showcasing leadership in project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware and manufacturing teams, providing timely feedback that informs final hardware specifications.
  • Integrate with other air defense platforms to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
