What You’ll Do: Create and optimize simulation environments that emulate CTV auction mechanics, inventory supply, and advertiser competition. Develop counterfactual and what-if frameworks to evaluate bidding strategies, budget allocation, and pacing algorithms offline. Construct AI agents to explore strategic options, formulate hypotheses, and automate experimentation within simulated environments. Utilize simulations to mitigate risks associated with ML model deployments by validating new bidding and optimization strategies before they go live. Guide the technical direction for simulation and AI infrastructure while mentoring team engineers. What We’re Looking For: Experience in systems programming with Zig or comparable languages (C, C++, Rust). In-depth knowledge of probabilistic modeling, stochastic processes, or agent-based simulations. Practical experience with contemporary AI tools: LLMs, code generation, agentic workflows, along with sound judgment on their applicability. Familiarity with adtech, particularly RTB mechanics and the nuances of programmatic advertising. Capacity to translate business inquiries (e.g., “What happens if we adjust our bid strategy?”) into rigorous simulation frameworks. Exceptional written communication skills to define new technical directions and engage others. Proactive ownership of projects, managing the scope, design, and deployment of systems independently. Proven track record of leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and output quality in your daily workflow. Strong ability to critically evaluate and verify results.
