Your Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software features and components for IMC's trading systems (25%).
- Design and architect software solutions independently (10%).
- Debug and resolve software issues in trading systems (5%).
- Identify complex multi-component issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures (5%).
- Maintain code quality and system reliability through thorough automated testing (10%).
- Contribute to the automated testing framework, own critical trading system components, and ensure reliability, performance, and scalability (5%).
- Engage in code reviews (10%).
- Monitor system performance and trading operations (5%).
- Collaborate with traders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions (10%).
- Participate in project planning, assess task complexity, and manage technical debt alongside feature development (5%).
- Mentor junior developers and interns, helping them navigate IMC's systems and development methodologies (10%).
