We are seeking passionate Software Engineers to become integral members of our Data Cloud team. This team plays a vital role in driving innovation and unlocking new business opportunities by enabling everyone at Chainalysis to efficiently discover, access, analyze, and utilize data. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and refine high-performance, scalable data platforms, focusing on streaming data processing, handling large data volumes, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
Implement and uphold infrastructure automation and self-service capabilities using Terraform, ensuring reliable and repeatable environments for both development and production, alongside robust CI/CD pipelines.
Facilitate seamless integrations between Data Cloud and various relational and NoSQL OLTP databases.
Create and develop frameworks and abstractions that speed up data pipeline development while embedding data engineering best practices.
Establish and maintain observability, security, and data governance solutions to guarantee the quality and reliability of data pipelines.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer, including hands-on expertise in constructing and maintaining cloud-based data platforms.
Significant experience with AWS services, a solid understanding of cloud architecture, and proficiency in Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
Experience in building streaming data pipelines utilizing technologies such as Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, or similar.
Understanding of modern data lake architecture and data engineering best practices.
