Position Overview
We are in search of an experienced Software Engineer II to join our dynamic team, focusing on the pivotal intersection of data and product development. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining robust data platforms that facilitate business intelligence (BI) and in-product reporting tools. Your contributions will be essential to our data modernization strategy, ensuring the provision of high-quality, actionable data feeds across our various product lines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data feeds to support BI reporting and core product functionalities.
Actively contribute to the ongoing modernization of our data platform.
Tackle a wide array of issues, conducting in-depth data analysis to identify and address a diverse range of technical challenges.
Consistently deliver high-quality design, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the entire application development lifecycle.
Oversee and support internal product areas, ensuring optimal stability and performance.
Mentor and provide proactive assistance to junior team members and interns, enhancing the team's collective technical knowledge.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in developing modern, scalable, and high-performing backend web applications.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to ask questions, seek assistance when needed, and articulate requirements clearly.
Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts (experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is a plus).
A thorough understanding of the technology stack and languages relevant to data and backend systems.
