About Our Data TeamThe Data team at Joko plays a pivotal role in converting data into actionable insights that drive innovation across the company. Within the Data & Operations department, our primary goal is to establish robust data foundations that empower all teams to make informed, rapid, and scalable decisions.Currently, our team comprises Data Analysts who handle a wide array of tasks, from building dashboards and conducting analyses to designing and managing data pipelines. We are now seeking our inaugural Data Engineer who will take charge of our infrastructure, set new benchmarks for scalability and reliability, and create a solid data platform to support Joko's future growth and AI initiatives in this dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop data as a product: Design, document, and maintain reliable datasets utilized across the organization for business reporting, experimentation, automation, and internal tools.Manage and enhance a modern data stack: We utilize Snowflake, dbt, Airbyte, and Metabase. As we expand, we plan to optimize our pipelines, strengthen orchestration, and enhance monitoring and governance.Provide actionable insights and support AI initiatives: Deliver high-quality reports, self-service dashboards, and data tools that empower teams across Product, Operations, and Marketing to analyze and act on data. Lay the groundwork for data science initiatives and AI-driven features that will shape the future of Joko’s offerings.Promote a data-centric culture: At Joko, we believe that data is everyone’s responsibility.
