As a Space Infrastructure Software Engineer at Loft Orbital, you will play a vital role in enhancing our operations across a diverse fleet of satellites, which includes dedicated, rideshare, and constellation missions. Your work will involve automating satellite operations and developing both ground and flight software to address challenges encountered in orbit.
Our dedicated team ensures the reliable and efficient operation of Loft’s space infrastructure. You will contribute to maintaining the stability of the satellite bus, the Hub, and Loft’s payloads, providing a robust platform for executing customer missions.
The reliability of Loft’s space infrastructure is crucial to our business and that of our customers. This foundational role allows you the flexibility to work across various systems, from coding for our mission control system, Cockpit, to developing software that runs on our satellites. You will also have the opportunity to step into the role of Flight Director, overseeing the health and safety of our satellite fleet.
