About the job
A new era of space exploration is here, and True Anomaly is at the forefront of this exciting endeavor. We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about developing groundbreaking technology designed to tackle the next generation of engineering, manufacturing, and operational challenges in the realm of space safety and sustainability.
OUR MISSION
We believe that the peaceful utilization of space is critical for ongoing prosperity on Earth, impacting everything from communications and finance to navigation and logistics. At True Anomaly, we create cutting-edge technology that merges spacecraft, software, and artificial intelligence to bolster the capabilities of the U. S., its allies, and commercial partners, ensuring global security and sustainable access to space for everyone.
OUR VALUES
- Be the offset. We leverage creativity and ingenuity to create asymmetric advantages.
- What would it take? We question assumptions to achieve ambitious outcomes.
- It’s the people. Our team is our greatest asset, and we thrive together.
YOUR MISSION
As a Software Engineer specializing in Spacecraft Simulation, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of our spacecraft and constellation modeling and simulation software. Your focus will be on high-fidelity, multi-physics simulations that serve as the central nervous system for True Anomaly's engineering and product initiatives. You will collaborate with a dynamic, interdisciplinary team to create and implement algorithms for modeling intricate coupled physics, including 6-degree-of-freedom (6DOF) dynamics, thermal systems, attitude dynamics and control, and propulsion systems. This role is essential for building the simulation infrastructure that allows engineers to design spacecraft, validate control algorithms, evaluate system performance, and accurately predict mission outcomes with confidence.
