Qualifications
Requirements:• Strong foundation in engineering principles and Computer Science• 3 to 15 years of relevant professional experience• Proficient in programming with C/C++ languages• Experience in a Linux environment, specifically in application or Linux driver developmentProven Experience in One or More of the Following Areas:1. Development of network device drivers, OS internals, kernels, compilers, and SoC architecture2. User space development for connectivity products (Wireless LAN access points/controllers, networking equipment) covering: • HostAPD, Portal, RADIUS, AAA, Identity and role management, Radsec • Tunnels, Firewall, Iptables, Flow Classification, QoS, TLS, DTLSPreferred Skills:• Experience with Wi-Fi device drivers on Linux• Practical experience with one or more Wi-Fi chipset platforms

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather product requirements, design innovative solutions, and develop high-quality software for final validation and deployment. You will actively monitor emerging technologies and leverage them to enhance Arista's product offerings, positioning us as a leader in the Campus networking sector. Additionally, you'll work alongside sales and support teams to address customer needs, push new solutions, and tackle escalations. Your responsibilities will span various aspects, including the creation of new Access Points, feature design and implementation, and strategic technology tracking.
