Anyone AI is looking for experienced software engineers to join a project with a leading AI research lab. This part-time, project-based role focuses on expert evaluation and can be done remotely from Germany.
What You Will Do
- Create and carry out multi-file coding tasks, including bug fixes, feature development, refactoring, and testing
- Write clear specifications in natural language and provide reference implementations
- Build and improve unit and integration test suites
- Review peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and realism
- Spot edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure points
- Check for alignment between specifications, code, and expected results
What We Look For
- Exceptional written English skills
- 3–7 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Strong background in Python and JavaScript or TypeScript; knowledge of Java, C#, or Go is a plus
- Experience with backend or full-stack development for production systems
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing
- Advanced debugging skills with large, multi-file codebases
- Background in code reviews, refactoring, and managing production migrations
