Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, etc.). Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL). Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Previous internship or project experience in software development is a plus.

Internship Details

We are excited to invite applications for multiple Software Engineering Intern positions for Summer 2026! These paid internships will take place in-person in Atlanta, GA, for a duration of 12 weeks from May 18 to August 7, 2026.

The Role

We are in search of a passionate Software Engineering Intern to become a vital part of our dynamic engineering team. This internship provides an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications utilizing the latest technologies. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers, contribute to impactful projects, and learn the fundamentals of creating robust and high-performing systems.

You may join one of several teams focused on key components of Flock’s safety platform. Possible team placements include those working on large-scale, low-latency data pipelines that analyze audio signals in near real-time; integration teams connecting Flock with external public safety systems, and development teams creating APIs that drive real-time data across various web, mobile, and partner platforms.
