The Role

AXS is on the lookout for a Software Engineering Manager who will not only lead a team of engineers but also inspire them to create technology that delivers unforgettable experiences. In this position, you will oversee the development of features and services across our ecosystem—from user-friendly B2B applications to seamless payment systems and robust transactional engines that power our global platforms. Alongside your team, you will design and implement innovative, scalable solutions that bring fans closer to the events they cherish and elevate standards in live entertainment technology.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead a team of 4-6 engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Remain hands-on by engaging with code, performing code reviews, and enhancing our software development practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Architecture, QA, Infrastructure, and Ops teams to identify and drive technical initiatives.
  • Work together with Product, PMO, stakeholders, and other teams to coordinate efforts, gather feedback, and communicate updates.
  • Make strategic operational decisions to achieve goals and adhere to project plans.
  • Participate in recruiting and retention initiatives.

What Will You Bring?

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience as a senior or lead software engineer.
  • 3+ years of people management experience with at least 3 direct reports.
  • Proficient in systems design and full stack development with expertise in ReactJS, . NET, and SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle and associated tools.

  • Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent.
