Role Summary:We are in search of a Software Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team. This team is central to DataVisor's detection capabilities, constructing the AI-driven fraud and risk decision platform that facilitates real-time and batch unified decision-making at an enterprise scale. What You’ll Do: Architect and deliver a large-scale, AI-based fraud and risk decision platform. Innovate in Fraud Detection by employing unsupervised, supervised, and agentic AI methods to identify and prevent fraudulent behavior. Drive the development of a real-time and batch unified decision platform that empowers enterprise-scale fraud prevention. Build and optimize distributed, real-time data systems for low-latency decisioning. Utilize technologies such as Spark, Flink, and Cassandra to enable high-throughput ML pipelines. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, promoting technical excellence and career growth. Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science or a related field required; MS/PhD preferred. Proficient in Java or C++ programming, with knowledge of Python; hands-on experience in coding, system design, and architecture. 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. 8+ years of software development experience. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (including unsupervised, supervised, and emerging approaches like agentic AI); experience in applying ML in production systems is a significant plus. Familiar with relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate) is advantageous. Experience with big data technologies (Cassandra, Flink, Spark, Kafka) preferred. Knowledge of the Spring Framework is beneficial. Exposure to test-driven development and high-quality engineering practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Role Overview As a Software Engineering Intern at Nuro, you will collaborate with top professionals in machine learning, robotics, and software development. Depending on your expertise and interests, you may contribute to various teams, including Data Platform, Onboard Systems, ML Infrastructure, Simulation, or Technical Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Data Platform: Engage with a comprehensive data management system for Nuro's AI Driver, overseeing data annotation in areas like 2D/3D perception, mapping, and behavior trajectory. You will also work on data ingestion and mining techniques. Onboard Systems: Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure the seamless integration of autonomy software across self-driving platforms, addressing onboard errors and performance issues. ML Infrastructure: Assist in developing solutions that enhance machine learning capabilities at Nuro, including distributed training platforms and model component libraries. Simulation: Participate in the creation of advanced simulation models that facilitate testing and validation of autonomous technologies.
