Qualifications:Proven experience in software engineering management. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Model-Based Systems Engineering. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills. Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with CI/CD implementation and DevSecOps practices. Technical knowledge relevant to SIGINT and electronic warfare systems is a plus.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of top-tier professionals in a collaborative environment that champions the best practices in Model-Based Systems Engineering and Agile software development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a talented team of software, integration, and test engineers, fostering a climate of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Product Teams and customers to translate requirements into comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
  • Partner with the DevSecOps team to implement CI/CD processes for streamlined development cycles.
  • Coordinate with external teams to effectively integrate software products across various environments.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to plan, execute, and manage sprint iterations, actively engaging with the software team during development and testing phases.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set professional development goals, and ensure team members are equipped with necessary resources for success.
  • Collaborate with upper management to formulate strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing product capabilities and driving growth.
  • Identify opportunities for maximizing software reuse and improving profitability across programs.
  • Oversee development and delivery efforts while being the primary software focal point for the Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) baseline.
  • Manage Software Development and Software Integration & Test (I&T) processes.
  • Authorize formal build and release of the software baseline, generating and approving software CDRLs (SVD, SSDD, etc.).
  • Act as the primary contact for customer-run SSEE Software Technical Review Board (TRB) and manage Software Problem Reports (SPRs).
  • Drive technical discussions on priorities and critical issues while scheduling and executing SPR resolutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the engineering team and stakeholders including product management, sales, and customer support.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
