We are looking for candidates with a strong background in software engineering, particularly in systems integration and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. Ideal candidates should have experience with software development, configuration management, and direct hardware interaction. A passion for space technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving are crucial for success in this role.

About the job

At Stoke, we envision a flourishing space economy that fosters a sustainable and equitable future on Earth. This vision drives our development of Nova, a fully reusable launch vehicle crafted for daily flights. Nova addresses the fundamental challenges of space transportation by significantly lowering costs, enhancing availability, and boosting reliability. Our mission is to establish a truly scalable space industry by drastically reducing launch expenses and increasing flight frequency.

Our team is mission-oriented, collaborative, and empowered to take ownership of their work. If you aspire to collaborate with some of the most dedicated and skilled professionals in the field, we invite you to join us.

Description

Reusable launch systems are essential for seamlessly bridging Earth and space. We are seeking a versatile Software Integration Engineer - HIL to join our software integration team. This position serves as the vital link between our vehicle software development team, the various physical components of the vehicle (including avionics, engines, and fluid systems), and our vehicle operators. Your role will extend beyond software development and configuration management; you will also engage hands-on in bringing hardware to life. One day, you might write scripts to manage fleet configurations, and the next, you could work directly with hardware systems to ensure they operate optimally.
