Requirements:You have at least some experience in software testing, including automated test design. You possess knowledge of scripting languages (Python). You have a good understanding of Git. Familiarity with Gherkin and SQL is a plus. Knowledge of Linux is advantageous. Experience with Squash is a plus. You have strong interpersonal skills to integrate easily into an R&D team. Structured, imaginative, and rigorous, you can take initiatives and collaborate with those around you. You are comfortable in both English and French, spoken and written.

This Software Quality Assurance Engineer role is based in Lille, Hauts-de-France. The position sits within the R&D division and involves working directly with robotic systems to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions.

Role overview

The Software QA Engineer collaborates with Product Owners and Agile squad developers to define and implement testing strategies for new features and bug fixes. The role focuses on maximizing test coverage, supporting non-regression testing, and maintaining high standards for R&D deliverables.

What you will do

  • Define testing strategies in partnership with Product Owners and developers for both new features and bug fixes.
  • Establish and refine methods to increase the effectiveness and coverage of tests.
  • Support non-regression testing by developing and maintaining relevant test suites.
  • Work closely with development and Release teams to coordinate quality efforts.
  • Automate tests using frameworks provided by the Automation team.
  • Ensure overall quality of R&D solutions before release.
