About the Role
We are seeking a talented Software Tooling Engineer to create and enhance the internal tools that will allow our operations to accelerate and scale efficiently. This role involves working with our internal data infrastructure and operational workflows, designing high-leverage tools that support teams across the organization.
You will combine strong software engineering skills with a deep understanding of user needs, taking ownership of the architecture, development, and deployment of essential tools for Harmattan’s core operational workflows, including AI-powered internal agents, workflow automation, internal data visualization tools, integrations, and lightweight backend services.
Responsibilities
Internal Tools & Automation
Develop internal tools and AI/LLM-powered agents utilized by various teams.
Create dashboards, visualization tools, and workflow automations to enhance daily operations at Harmattan AI.
Operational Workflow Enablement
Optimize core operational processes through customized tools, connectors, and integrations with internal systems.
Collaborate closely with teams to identify bottlenecks, rapidly iterate, and provide impactful solutions.
Backend & Infrastructure
Develop and maintain lightweight backend services that power internal tools (APIs, data storage, metrics, logging).
Assist in cloud deployment and integration with CI/CD and data pipelines.
Quality & Reliability
Set and uphold standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
Ensure internal tools are reliable and meet the operational needs of the organization.
