Reporting Structure
The Solar Field Service Technician will report to the Team Lead of Service Operations.
Role Summary
The Solar Field Service Technician is essential in ensuring our customers receive the value they expect from their solar systems. This role collaborates with the Services team to swiftly and professionally address system performance issues. As a versatile team member, the technician will support various functions, including Service, Installation, Job Closeout, and Permitting/Inspection. This position is pivotal in cultivating long-term customer relationships, maintaining service throughout the 25+ year lifespan of a solar system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repairs of solar systems.
- Document service visits and complete job closeout reports.
- Schedule site visits directly with customers as needed.
- Coordinate with local field teams and central scheduling to optimize response times.
- Provide feedback to field team leadership to enhance service delivery.
