A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.

About the Role:
Essel Environmental is on the lookout for a proficient and seasoned Solar Superintendent to take charge of our solar project installations. The perfect candidate will have extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, project management, and team leadership. As the Solar Superintendent, your key responsibility will be to supervise daily operations, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver projects punctually while meeting quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems from inception to completion, ensuring superior workmanship and compliance with deadlines.
  • Lead a team of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors, offering guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate project plans, specifications, and schedules, making necessary adjustments to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and vendors.
  • Implement health and safety protocols at the job site, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Perform regular site inspections to assess progress and identify any issues that may affect project timelines or quality.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve any onsite challenges promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring project continuity.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all installed systems, including as-built drawings and compliance reports.
