We are looking for a talented and driven Solution Consultant to become an integral part of our innovative team at Lightspeed. As a Solution Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by shaping deal strategies, designing solutions, positioning competitively, and building customer trust throughout the sales process. Your contributions will directly influence win rates, deal sizes, and the expansion of long-term accounts. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in generating new business, nurturing strategic partnerships, and fostering seamless teamwork between our sales and implementation divisions. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, outstanding technical skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities, along with sales experience.
*** Please be aware that this position is located in Amsterdam and will involve regular travel across the Netherlands to support our Field teams. Proficiency in Dutch at a business level is required. ***
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote & Field Sales Support: This role necessitates regular travel throughout Amsterdam and the Netherlands to assist Field Sales teams in on-site discovery, customer meetings, and in-person demonstrations, all while representing the company with independence and professionalism.
- Sales Execution & Deal Ownership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives on both inbound and field sales initiatives to define, design, and validate technical solutions that meet customer needs. You will assess client requirements, identify potential risks, and suggest optimal solutions to facilitate successful deal closure.
- Revenue & Risk Enablement: Aid sales teams by identifying technical risks, limitations, and dependencies early in the sales cycle, thereby enhancing deal value protection, improving forecasting accuracy, and ensuring a smooth transition to implementation teams.
- Strategic Account Management: Work alongside Strategic Account Managers to bolster customer retention, satisfaction, and growth, providing valuable technical insights during renewal and expansion discussions to mitigate churn in complex environments.
- GTM Team Collaboration: Engage actively as a technical contributor within GTM channels, delivering timely, high-quality product insights and support.
