Pleo’s Berlin-based Commercial team is looking for a Solution Engineer to support the pre-sales process for its spend management platform. This role blends technical expertise with an understanding of accounting to help prospective customers see the value Pleo brings to financial workflows in B2B SaaS.
Role overview
The Solution Engineer works closely with sales, guiding customers through product capabilities and tailoring demonstrations to their needs. The position involves both technical and business conversations, ensuring potential clients understand how Pleo can streamline their expense management.
Team structure
This position reports to the Solutions Manager and is part of a small, collaborative team of three. The group partners with the wider Commercial team to accelerate sales cycles and provide input that helps refine the product. Teamwork and open communication are essential in this setting.
What you will do
- Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops tailored to customer requirements.
- Create and deliver technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and build proof of concepts.
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s objectives, technical environment, and accounting processes.
- Share customer feedback and insights with product and engineering teams to influence future development.
- Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation and onboarding teams.
