About the Position
As a pivotal member of Nuvei’s Solution team, the Solution Engineer serves as a key technical and payment product consultant to prospective partners and strategic clients. This role involves architecting client or partner platforms utilizing Nuvei’s payment services while aligning with both client business requirements and Nuvei's best practices. The Solution Engineer will act as the technical leader throughout the new prospect's technical journey with Nuvei, liaising with our technology partner ecosystem, products, and services. Additionally, the solution team plays a crucial role in the sales process, focusing on converting pre-sale and post-sale opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a leading Solution Engineer with expertise in payment technologies and integration frameworks, capable of defining, designing, and implementing advanced techniques for client payment scopes.
- Coordinate project timelines, tasks, and development efforts with internal engineering and client teams to manage Solution projects effectively, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Develop a go-to-market strategy based on platform constraints and client requirements, providing a comprehensive architectural guide for client onboarding.
- Lead pre-sale meetings and client engagements in accordance with established sales engineering methodologies tailored to each client.
- Guide implementation projects for clients utilizing Nuvei's rapidly expanding solution offerings to ensure successful setups.
- Analyze business frameworks and their technical implications for clients or prospective partners within the evolving payment landscape, considering new trends and existing regulations.
- Manage payments technical solutions to meet market demands and client needs for complex implementations and high-tier prospects and partners.
- Identify product gaps and collaborate with internal teams to shape and design APIs, payment features, and Nuvei services.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and executing opportunities that enhance efficiency, eliminate obstacles, or improve business processes.
- Exhibit strong consultative skills to address solution pain points, architecting features that meet pressing business needs.
- Effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks in a global remote environment across diverse fields (technology, product, and business).
- Demonstrate a passion for technology and customer service, with a commitment to assisting others.
