The Role

The Solution Engineer will act as the primary technical sales resource for our regional sales team, focusing on understanding customer challenges and aligning them with OPSWAT solutions. As a product and industry expert, you will proficiently articulate and showcase our offerings while promoting our vision and methodologies. You will establish yourself as a reliable contact for our clients, facilitating the progression of the sales process.

Additionally, you will serve as a bridge to the engineering team, guiding product direction. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as part of a corporate sales team with a proven track record in supporting large and complex enterprise sales.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the OPSWAT sales team and partners to drive Enterprise business growth.
  • Manage client requirements, expectations, and solutions for optimal acceptance.
  • Enhance customer confidence and knowledge of our products and solutions.
  • Oversee, deliver, and present comprehensive responses to industry RFPs.
  • Train and certify resellers and partners.
  • Present at conferences and seminars.
  • Assist with proofs of concept, implementations, and installations as necessary to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or networking software sales engineering or technical sales.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to lead discussions within the cybersecurity domain across all customer levels (from CISO to IT administrator).
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
