The Role
As a Solutions Engineer located in Switzerland, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process by uncovering customer needs and aligning our products to fulfill those requirements. Your technical expertise will be crucial as you effectively communicate our value proposition through presentations, demonstrations, and successful proof-of-concept evaluations.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct solution presentations, demonstrations, and provide recommendations to prospective and existing customers.
- Forge and nurture technical relationships with clients through Quarterly Technical Reviews.
- Assist in crafting responses to Requests for Proposals/Information.
- Represent BeyondTrust at various trade shows, seminars, and corporate events.
- Utilize common sales and marketing tools such as Salesforce, Confluence, and Skytap.
- Support technical evaluations of our products and develop Proof-of-Concept Success Plans.
- Provide assistance to BeyondTrust Partners.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of BeyondTrust products and the cybersecurity industry.
What You’ll Bring
- Fluency in English, French, and German.
- Located in Switzerland.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Information Systems) or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer or support engineer in privileged access management or a related enterprise application (IAM, SIEM, ITDR, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience working with global software vendors.
- Proven ability to highlight product differentiators in competitive landscapes.
- Experience presenting security products at trade shows and security conferences.
- Strong background in supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, SQL, etc.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Familiarity with VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments.
Nice To Have
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH.
