The Solutions Engineer Team

They are adept at using presentations, emails, phone calls, and social media to connect with customers both virtually and in-person. We seek dynamic team players who excel in crafting compelling sales presentations and tailored product demonstrations to educate our clients—from developers to C-level executives—on best practices in their cloud security technology journey. Our Solutions Engineers have the unique ability to empathize with customers and quickly identify their true technical requirements by asking insightful, clarifying questions, all while presenting solutions that directly address those needs. With a balance of technical expertise and business insight, Solutions Engineers at Okta are positioned to thrive in a role that allows them to use both skill sets. The Solutions Engineer Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Engineers, the Solutions Engineer serves as a functional business consultant, passionate about technology, with the advanced skills to develop, position, and demonstrate product-specific solutions throughout the sales cycle while achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for a designated territory.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate closely with the sales team as the technical and domain authority of a customer-facing sales team to help clients understand the value of Okta’s solutions.
- Analyze customer challenges and business problems, providing tailored product demonstrations to illustrate the best-fit solutions.
