Bryce Space and Technology is seeking a dedicated Source Selection & Acquisition Strategy Support Specialist to deliver expert advisory and assistance services (A&AS) for a significant defense program, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle and Space Force systems. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience with the U. S. Space Force, particularly within the Space Systems Command (SSC).
The Space Systems Command (SSC) encompasses the Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) (SSC/SZ), as well as Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC). This division provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems and Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, alongside space test range assets to fulfill current and anticipated DoD operational requirements. SSC/SZ-BC is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, deploying, sustaining, and supporting operations for systems that address both strategic and tactical operational needs. This vital mission area necessitates personnel with extensive experience and a deep understanding of environments including ground, near-space, space, and any systems operating within these domains.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting clients in executing source selections in accordance with FAR 9.505-4
Coordinating functional meetings
Developing source selection documentation
Reviewing and drafting proposal evaluations
Supporting clients in executing contracting actions, including reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs), conducting technical evaluations, and advising on contract negotiations and administration
Advising on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance, mitigation strategies, and problem-solving techniques
