Qualifications
Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth supplier analyses to develop a strategic sourcing plan that identifies suitable new suppliers, optimizes cost structures, and ensures continued supply in alignment with demand. Develop sourcing strategies that mitigate risks, promote ongoing cost reductions, and align with corporate objectives regarding payment terms, cash targets, timely delivery, and savings. Oversee project budgets, compile funding requests, and devise a capitalization plan based on project timelines while focusing on total cost of ownership and negotiating with contract manufacturers to optimize capital expenditures and resource utilization. Manage the supply base by implementing accurate forecasting models and clear-to-build frameworks, including tier 2 and 3 suppliers of contract manufacturers. Supervise daily operations of contract manufacturers, ensuring capacity ramp-up, equipment readiness, and material availability align with new product development timelines. Execute procurement transactions within the designated scope by issuing purchase orders for SpaceX programs and confirming delivery through material requirement planning.
