Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who are:Passionate about supporting children with autism. Patient, compassionate, and effective team players. At least 18 years of age. Possessing a high school diploma or GED. Able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, along with a recent Tuberculosis test. Capable of passing a pre-employment background check. Physically able to perform various movements including sitting, squatting, bending, and lifting. Bilingual in Spanish. Additional qualifications (preferred but not required):Experience as a Behavioral Technician or in roles assisting children with autism or learning disabilities, such as a Teacher’s Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide.

Your responsibilities will include utilizing evidence-based strategies to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities, while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors. Your compassion, patience, and teamwork skills will be essential as you support children in reaching their fullest potential.

We provide comprehensive training to prepare you for this rewarding journey, regardless of your prior experience. The nature of this work may require physical stamina, as you will be actively engaged with children, so comfort with physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary.
