Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.5+ years of experience in ASIC design and verification. Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog for RTL design. Experience with digital design methodologies and CAD tools. Strong understanding of timing analysis, synthesis, and physical design flows. Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a relevant field. Experience with FPGA design and implementation. Familiarity with silicon bring-up and validation processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Senior ASIC Design Engineer - Silicon Engineering

As part of SpaceX, you will contribute to the deployment of Starlink, the most advanced broadband internet system globally, currently connecting millions of users. Our team designs, builds, tests, and operates every component, from thousands of satellites to consumer receivers and the software that unifies these systems. We are on the brink of unlocking Starlink's vast potential and are looking for exceptional engineers to enhance its utility for communities and businesses worldwide.

We seek an enthusiastic, proactive, and intellectually curious engineer to collaborate with elite, multidisciplinary teams including systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, product engineering, and ASIC implementation. In this role, you will develop innovative next-generation FPGAs and ASICs for deployment in both space and terrestrial infrastructures. Your work will enable connectivity in areas where it was previously unavailable, unaffordable, or unreliable, thus expanding the performance and capabilities of the Starlink network.
