Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design and/or hands-on manufacturing. Preferred qualifications include a willingness to obtain a Top Secret clearance, a Master's degree in engineering, proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB or Python, and experience in integrating and testing propulsion, thermal, electrical, and structural systems, as well as avionics systems. Strong documentation, configuration management skills, and an ability to write comprehensive test plans and procedures are also essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort in navigating ambiguity.
