Experience in government contracting and familiarity with national security requirements will be advantageous. A proactive approach to challenges and a passion for the aerospace sector are highly valued.

SENIOR MISSION INTEGRATION ENGINEER - STARSHIELD

Starshield harnesses the power of SpaceX's Starlink technology and launch capabilities to bolster national security initiatives. While Starlink serves consumer and commercial markets, Starshield is tailored for government applications, focusing primarily on earth observation, secure communications, and hosted payloads.

As a key member of our Mission Management team, you will be the principal liaison for customers, guiding them through the entire process from preliminary capability assessments to successful launch and operational activation. You will also play a vital role in developing new business proposals, ensuring smooth transitions from initial requirements negotiation to final validation.

Your responsibilities will include leading and integrating system trade-offs across various launch vehicles, spacecraft, and sensor technologies, while analyzing diverse solutions to fulfill mission objectives. You will support the development of operational concepts and interfaces at multiple levels, including mission, segment, system, and sub-system. We encourage innovative thinking, allowing you to explore and test various engineering methodologies to achieve technical and programmatic goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in space vehicle design, integration, and verification throughout the program lifecycle.
