Using agentic AI, the team supports a new kind of customer experience, one where support is a real dialogue, not just a transaction. Role Overview: Staff Data Engineer – Internal Platform
This Staff Data Engineer role focuses on shaping and running the internal data infrastructure behind Parloa’s AI transformation. Today, essential business data sits in many disconnected tools, making access difficult. The main challenge: build a unified, self-service data layer so AI agents and teams can access the business context they need. This position works closely with the AI Transformation Team and stakeholders across Parloa to define KPIs and dashboards for tracking AI adoption and its impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Platform Infrastructure: Oversee all aspects of the internal Databricks workspace, including configuration, compute management, access controls, and cost tracking.
- Ingestion Pipelines: Build and maintain Airbyte pipelines to automate scheduled data extraction from systems like Salesforce, Gong, HRIS, finance tools, and others.
- Data Modeling & Transformation: Design architecture to convert raw data into clean, reliable, analysis-ready datasets.
- AI Data Enablement: Partner with the AI Transformation Team to deliver accurate, well-formatted data for AI agents and LLM workflows.
- AI Adoption Measurement: Develop KPIs and dashboards to track AI usage, proficiency, and business impact across the company.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Manage data classification, access policies, GDPR/DPA compliance, and pipeline monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience designing data layers for AI or LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, ETL/ELT tools, and MLOps.
- Solid grasp of dimensional modeling and modern data warehouse technologies.
Location
This position is based in Parloa’s Berlin office.
