Team Purpose
The Growth Data Products (GDP) team powers GetYourGuide's growth by converting raw marketing data into actionable insights and automated decision-making systems. Our initiatives encompass diverse growth channels including Paid and Organic Search, Display Advertising, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Brand Marketing, Marketing Attribution, Experimentation, and Customer Lifetime Value analysis. We enable teams across the organization to make informed decisions swiftly and at scale, transforming data into intelligence that connects millions with unforgettable travel experiences.
Your Role
- Lead the definition, development, and ownership of data products that drive significant revenue across all GDP sectors.
- Convert growth strategies into actionable technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment among multiple teams and stakeholders around clear business outcomes.
- Design, implement, and oversee production-level machine learning pipelines using Python and Databricks to enhance bidding, targeting, and personalization strategies.
- Elevate technical standards by establishing best practices, code quality benchmarks, and robust observability within the data science and engineering teams.
- Promote a culture of experimentation through A/B testing design, causal-inference analysis, and frameworks for rapid iteration.
- Enhance customer lifetime value and attribution models to inform multi-million euro marketing investments.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure that data products deliver measurable business value and strategic impact.
Your Skillset
- Demonstrated experience as a Staff or Principal Data Scientist (or equivalent) with a track record of delivering cross-functional products that yield substantial business results.
- Expertise in market growth and marketing analytics with a strong understanding of customer acquisition and revenue optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern big data technologies.
