Key ResponsibilitiesGuide cross-functional teams to incorporate Design for Excellence principles throughout all phases of product design and development. Serve as the resident expert in Design for Excellence, driving innovation and best practices. Enhance DFx methodologies, applying the latest tools and technologies for continuous improvement. Establish specifications for PCBAs and Electronic Control Units that ensure manufacturability and scalability. Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize DFM, DFT, and DFA for high-volume production. Proactively identify high-risk areas within the production and engineering design cycle. Review BOMs, PCB panels, and stack-ups with internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers. Diagnose issues, track root causes, and collaborate with Design Engineers to implement necessary design changes throughout the production and vehicle launch phases. QualificationsOver 10 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing processes. Proficient in electronics manufacturing with a focus on methodical problem-solving techniques. Extensive experience evaluating electronic components, packages, and solder interconnects for varying voltage applications. Strong understanding of DFM/DFA methodologies and manufacturing best practices.
