Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop fault-tolerant, high power density actuator controllers encompassing motor drivers, sensors, power stages, and embedded control interfaces. Oversee all aspects of power electronics design, including components, circuits, modules, and system integration. Optimize passive component design within power electronics systems. Conduct EMC and lightning design, analysis, and testing for both low and high voltage electronic systems. Lead new designs from initial concept through to production while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Own the hardware lifecycle from specification through design, prototyping, reliability validation, and manufacturing. Capture requirements, perform topology trade-studies, and engage in performance modeling. Design schematics, layouts, and PCB assembly while conducting thorough reviews. Develop and execute prototype verification tests to establish proof of concept. Analyze test data and reports to ensure compliance with functional and performance specifications. Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on both prototype and production designs.

We are looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer - Actuators to spearhead the architecture, design, development, and validation of electronics and electromechanical actuators utilized in mission-critical flight systems, including propulsion tilt, pitch control surfaces, and landing gear.
